This is a remote, work-from-home position. We will consider applicants that reside in the following states: Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Missouri, Nevada, Texas, and Utah .
Pay : $80 -$105,000 Annually DOE

Position Summary of the Salesforce Developer :
The Salesforce Developer actively participates in this vision through ensuring that students, staff, and faculty are equipped with the best possible software solutions to navigate databases and educational learning systems. The Salesforce Developer works directly with our partners to provide integration solutions, reporting and interfaces that support students, staff and faculty ensuring the functionality of critical technologies to enable “higher learning” for our students.
Responsibilities of the Salesforce Developer :
Manage Salesforce instance in the following areas (not limited to):
Systems and application-level security – user provisioning, data security etc.
Business processes are supported appropriately by the application
Facilitate patch upgrades or enhancement application
Facilitate business needs with application execution
Manage systems and application specific configurations, automation and interfaces
Designs, Architects, Builds, and Deploys solutions to resolve specific problems including advanced software applications, interfaces, vendor deployments, database designs and or database logic.
Reviews quality of work of other Software Engineers/consulting partners and provides mentoring, training and escalation.
Manages ongoing vendor relationships and deliverables.
Participate in strategic planning for the growth of the IT department as Bryan University grows. Actively suggest ideas to help in the planning process
Provides escalation monitoring, troubleshooting and resolution of issues escalated from other organizations within Bryan University.
Document all coding performed on Bryan University systems
Advanced Report Query design and creation.
Continuously develop programming language skills to take on progressively advanced developer roles.
Implements, Maintains and Troubleshoots Salesforce instance, reports, integrations, custom code, and/or flow logic.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements of the Salesforce Developer :
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
3+ years of experience with Higher Ed applications preferred.
5+ years of experience with EDA/Education Cloud data model and functionality.
5+ years of experience developing, deploying and testing Salesforce applications.
4+ years of experience writing Apex Code.
5+ years of experience developing and deploying Flow Builder logic and User Interface customizations.
3+ years of experience developing and supporting Mulesoft integrations with Salesforce.
5+ years of experience developing full stack applications including user interface, API integration, object management, and data modeling.
5+ years of experience with large scale integrated multi system environments.
2+ years of experience with vendor management.
Demonstrate an ability to proactively recognize system issues, plan the correction and implement solutions without receiving direction from others.
Proactively present solutions when working on large, cross-departmental projects.
Previous customer service experience that demonstrates quality of service.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, including MS 365 Admin, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Must possess excellent communication skills.
Advanced Salesforce programming language certifications preferred: Apex, Flow Builder and Salesforce Administration.
Intermediate Cloud infrastructure certification preferred.
Flexible hours to allow for after-hours migrations, backups, and supporting nighttime faculty.
Ability to work in a virtual environment using multiple software technologies.
Ability to sit for six to eight hours.
Ability to work a flexible schedule at least 40 hours per week.
