Your opportunity: Retail Planner / Merchandise Planner

Your mission: Work with the team to expand overall market share, retail footprint and business impact.

Retail Planner / Merchandise Planner (fashion retail) – What You Will Do

You will work directly with the sales and account management team to provide merchandise metrics in pursuit of increased growth and market share.

• Collect and analyze weekly, monthly and seasonal retail sales data to identify opportunities for additional inventory expansion, inventory stock levels, additional sales channels and/or modifications to the sales and inventory strategy
• Review and analyze sales data to identify trends, in order to bring ideas and suggestions
• Monitor markdown cadence and aged-inventory levels in order to maximize profitability while achieving necessary sell-thrus
• Work with business analysist to maximize Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly planning reports on KPIs.

• Collaborate with the Sales team (VP of Sales, Sales Manager, Account Executives and Sales Assistants), communicating your findings
• Review internal metrics and external data to help inform merchandising and pricing decisions

Retail Planner / Merchandise Planner (fashion retail) – Required Skills, Experience & Personality Fit

• You have prior experience working in a Retail Planning role / retail experience
• You are a number crunching master – very comfortable working in MS Excel including complex formulas, multi-tab spreadsheets and pivot tables
• Experienced with retail planning software platforms
• You take initiative to identify challenges and bring your ideas and solutions
• Desire to move up into a Senior Planner role, and potentially develop a team alongside you
• Ability to work in the office Monday – Thursday, 9am to 5pm

Retail Planner / Merchandise Planner (fashion retail) – You Might Have:

• Experience with apparel marketing / fashion retail
• Experience in financial analysis in a retail role

Compensation $80,000 - $110,000, depending on experience.

This role is a hybrid role, Monday – Thursday in office with the team and Friday work from home.
