Position Type: Full-Time
Work Location: Batavia, IL (Temporary Location: Aurora, IL)
This role is eligible to participate in ALDIs Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 2 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 2 days per week; work in-office at least 3 days per week)

Informs management of major team milestones, developments, and concerns.
Develops programs supporting continuous process improvement for supplier management, manufacturing quality, regulatory, and product safety.
Leads and guides the work of direct reports, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
Develops Quality Assurance goals and leads collaboration with other teams and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and compliance with quality, safety standards, and regulations.
Manages multiple projects by anticipating challenges, troubleshooting problems, proposing solutions, managing quality, and ensuring deadline adherence.
Ensures team strategies are aligned with department strategies.
Ensures that all documentation in their area of responsibility is maintained, stored, and archived as required by law and ALDI standards.
Documents any performance concerns, as well as completes annual and goal reviews for direct reports, motivating behavior change when necessary.
Supervises the day-to-day operations of their team, escalating issues to the appropriate level of support and/or leadership when necessary.
Ensures direct reports complete assigned responsibilities in a timely and effective manner to provide the highest level of customer service for the business.
Complies with ALDI privacy and security requirements and policies if job responsibilities include possible access to confidential and/or sensitive information.

Education and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Physics, Microbiology, Chemistry or a related field required.
A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Retail Operations or Product Safety required.
Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
Physical Requirements:
Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
