Key Responsibilities:

• Connecting Shippers and Carriers: Identify and commission carriers to transport goods for shippers.
• Negotiating Rates: Negotiate competitive shipping rates and prepare accurate quotes.
• Tracking Shipments: Monitor the progress of shipments and provide timely updates to shippers.
• Managing Paperwork: Handle essential shipping documents, including the bill of lading.
• Resolving Issues: Address and resolve any problems that arise during the transportation process.

Requirements:

• Experience: Case-by-case experience in ocean, air, rail, and primary domestic cargo, with international experience in Canada being a plus.
• Tech Savvy: Ability to utilize provided technology effectively.
• You already have a book of business that you would like to grow.
