**The Headlines:**

In the role of **CDL Training Coordinator** working in **Denver, CO** you will be part of the Delivery team. Key responsibilities will include the on-going training of Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and Department Of Transportation (DOT) safety compliance education. This position must implement effective and safe training techniques for Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) in both classroom and road environments to ensure trainees successfully obtain their Commercial Drivers License. This position will assist in facilitating and maintaining DOT regulation compliance on company grounds as well as in the marketplace setting.

* Prepare and deliver instructional activities that cover driver qualification requirements, hours of service, driver wellness and whistleblower protection.

* Prepare and document training and training certificates in accordance with CFR 380.503 as well as keeping organized driver trainee files for inspection by FMCSA representatives.

* Be fully versed in Theory Instruction Standard Curriculum and the aspects thereof including Section A1.1 Basic Operation, Section A1.2 Safe Operation Procedures, Section A1.3 Advanced Operating Practices, Section A1.4 Vehicle Systems and Reporting Malfunctions and Section A1.5 Non-driving activities.

* Prepare classroom and behind-the-wheel driving courses for class activities in accordance with ELDT regulations.

* Ensure trainee can apply classroom and behind-the-wheel training to on the road.

* Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and safe operation of equipment.

* Observe, evaluate and document trainees performance and development through course completion tracking and by providing consistent feedback to both trainee and supervisor.

* Partner with trainees supervisor to proactively address development concerns as they arise. Maintain accurate and complete records of trainees progress and development.

* Maintain regulatory compliance documentation to promote safety and ensure FMCSA, DOT & ELDT compliance

* Manage student behavior in the classroom and on the range by enforcing rules, processes and procedures

* Ensure an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of current regulations regarding FMCSA, DOT and ELDT compliance.

* Report and record all incidents (accidents) involving CDC equipment or workplace injuries to, to trainees Supervisor.

**The Other Qualifications**

* Must have a high school diploma or GED,

* Must have at least 2 years experience driving a CMV requiring a Class A CDL and MVR must fall within the MolsonCoors Pre-Employment Background Screening Guidelines

* Must possess and maintain a valid class A CDL and a satisfactory driving record and *NOT* be disqualified through Federal Motor Carrier Regulations 49 CFR. All CDL Driver Trainers *SHALL* meet and maintain the physical requirements for commercial drivers set forth in 49 CFR 391 43.

* Holds a CDL of the same (or higher) class and with all endorsements necessary to operate the CMV for which training is to be provided and has at least 2 years of experience driving a CMV requiring a CDL of the same (or higher) class and/or the same endorsement and meets all applicable State qualification requirements for CMV instructors.

+ Must have a 10-speed endorsement with a minimum of years 2 experience

* Must have working knowledge of DOT, FMCSA & OSHA regulations.

* Experience with ergonomics/proper body mechanics techniques.

* Aptitude for teaching/coaching and facilitating training in both small and large groups

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Strong interpersonal commutation skills

* MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) proficiency.
