The Role:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be responsible for driving sales of our staffing services focused on supplying engineers for automation and control system projects within manufacturing facilities. Leveraging your expertise in sales and understanding of engineering staffing needs, you will identify and cultivate new business opportunities, build relationships with key decision-makers, and collaborate closely with our recruitment team to match qualified candidates with client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Grow sales and close business.

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries in need of automation and control system engineers.
  • Generate new leads through targeted outreach, networking events, and industry conferences.
  • Utilize CRM software to track prospects, manage pipeline, and optimize outreach efforts.

Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including HR managers, project managers, and engineering leads.
  • Understand client needs and pain points, and effectively communicate the value proposition of our staffing services.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups to drive engagement and foster long-term partnerships.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and materials to support sales efforts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and mitigate challenges.

Candidate Sourcing and Qualification:

  • Work closely with the recruitment team to source, screen, and qualify candidates with expertise in automation and control systems.
  • Ensure a smooth candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to placement.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Foster collaboration and communication between sales, recruitment, and operations teams to ensure alignment and delivery of exceptional service to clients.
  • Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline, and client feedback to management.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the staffing industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of automation, control systems, and engineering concepts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
